During operation, laser cutters generate exhaust that may be hazardous to health. Always operate laser cutters with proper exhaust ventilation and/or filtration, and always operate in a well-ventilated area. Consult with federal, state and/or local authorities and applicable homeowner or condominium associations to ensure compliance of ventilation and exhaust systems. Installer of exhaust management system is responsible for complying with all codes, regulations and laws.
There are five options for managing exhaust generated during the laser fabrication process. Consult Exhaust Management Systems table within 'Downloads' drop down to determine appropriate exhaust management method.
Dremel has spec'd and recommends the Bofa AD350 Fume Extractor with VOC Alert Option for indoor use with the LC40. Available individually here or as a bundle.
