With strengths of technical accumulation on 3D vision technology in more than a decade, SHINING 3D is now introducing its new developed handheld 3D scanner, EinScan H. Based on hybrid structure light technology of LED and invisible in-frared light, EinScan H is making human face scanning more comfortable without strong light. With a built-in color camera and large ﬁeld of view, EinScan H provides high quality 3D data with full color ready-to use in minutes.

Please Note: The EinScan H requires a Computer with a NVIDIA Graphics Card for use.

Fixed Mode for Max Accuracy

Once the scanner is locked in place, triangulation of the scan target's features is able to be optimized for it to take a high resolution point cloud snapshot within seconds. Each new scan will automatically be aligned to the previous scan until the whole object is fully digitized.

FAQ

How can I scan dark, reflective objects?

The best way to get an accurate scan for an item which is dark and/or reflective is to spray your object with a matte spray like Aesub. This allows the scanner to accurately pick up all the details of your object.

How does this compare to Photogrammetry?

Photogrammetry (while able to produce decent results with just software and any camera available) still has a few flaws. There are many variables which can affect the accuracy of your scan including camera lens distortion, settings, lighting and shadows. With the EinScan H, everything is self contained within the unit. How does Meshing work?

Once you are happy with the point cloud data, you can delete the points you don't need with an intuitive lasso tool right inside the scan program. You are then able to process the point cloud into a water tight mesh. Everything is automated with custom controls, allowing for the production of usable high resolution meshes with ease and predictability.
