In our Engineering Explorer Pack, explore your options for expanding the capabilities of your Form 2 with the unique properties of Tough, Durable, Flexible, and High Temp Resins. These materials are all part of our library of Engineering Resins, formulated to help you reduce costs, iterate faster, and bring better experiences to market.
Tough Resin (Current Version V5) balances strength and compliance, making it the ideal choice for prototyping strong, functional parts and assemblies that will undergo brief periods of stress or strain.
Flexible Resin (Current Version V2) can be used to produce parts that bend and compress and is excellent for simulating soft-touch materials and adding ergonomic features to multi-material assemblies.
Durable Resin (Current Version V2) produces parts with a smooth, glossy finish and high resistance to deformation. Use this material for applications requiring minimal friction.
High Temp. Resin (Current Version V1) has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 289 °C @ 0.45 MPa. Use it to print models for environmental testing, or create molds and masters for production processes like casting and thermoforming.
Post-curing is required for all Formlabs Engineering Resins.
Formlabs Standard Resins come in a resealable and refillable 1 Litre Cartridge.
Resins should be handled in accordance with Formlabs protocols.
A new resin tank should be used per Resin colour/type for your Form 2.
Never mix the use of resin colours or types with a resin tank.
