The new UltiMaker Factor 4 is an industrial-grade 3D printer that redefines 3D printing on the manufacturing floor. Its spacious triple-insulated build chamber allows you to utilize every millimeter of the build plate with direct drive dual extrusion, with excellent results.

With the UltiMaker Factor 4, filaments are kept in optimal condition inside the integrated Material handling system. Its robust construction houses a temperature-controlled build volume, ensuring consistent performance in various operation settings. New Hardware Features

Factor 4 comes with enhanced technology and exciting new hardware features such as:

• Hassle-free Material Handling: A new, integrated, automatic material handling system reliably manages your spools so you don't have to. The internal chamber is kept at less than 10% RH in office conditions, so you can keep up to 6 kilograms of filament in perfect condition for back-to-back print jobs.
• All-new H-bridge gantry and direct drive extrusion print head: Enabling rapid, dual material printing, the Factor 4 excels at quickly switching from 3D printing highly flexible materials to strong composites like UltiMaker PPS CF.
• Actively temperature-controlled build chamber:The triple-insulated build chamber and robust, temperature-controlled design ensure consistent production output, even on complex designs.
• Modular BuildFactor 4 is designed to be modular, allowing for prompt support and parts replacement, reducing production downtime when in need of servicing.
• In-depth Reporting:After every print job you’ll receive extensive reports on your prints, including details of extrusion parameters deviations from nominal values, their locations, and severity in the 3D model.
• Integrated HEPA filter:Removes up to 95% of ultrafine particles to increase air quality.
• Emergency Stop Button:Printing is safer with a conspicuous red stop button, should you need to halt printing immediately.
• 7-inch capacitative touchscreen:Helps you monitor prints in high resolution remotely via UltiMaker Digital Factory. The screen is also mounted higher for a better view of your first layers while remote monitoring.

UltiMaker Cura and Digital Factory work together with Factor 4 and UltiMaker materials to provide an easy, secure, and reliable workflow - from 3D model to printed part. It also comes with dual onboard processors, giving plenty of headroom for software updates.

• UltiMaker PPS Carbon Fiber:Specially designed for Factor 4, UltiMaker PPS CF is a reinforced PPS filament with excellent performance while still being easy to print using HT print cores. An excellent choice to replace metal and PEEK, it was engineered for precise 3D printing and extreme durability.
• Material Diversity: Factor 4 is also compatible with a proven selection of UltiMaker polymers for a wide range of use cases such as UltiMaker ABS, Polycarbonate (PC), Nylon, Tough PLA, PLA, etc. View the full list here.
