The Einstar is an affordable handheld 3D scanner which makes high-quality 3D data available to everyone. In the standard package you will find a handheld 3D scanner with Exstar software, and a lightweight carrying case which includes a series of accessories: a silicone case, introductory user guide, positioning markers, cloth to wipe the lens, a carrying strap, power supply and USB cable.

Please Note: The Einstar requires a Computer with a NVIDIA Graphics Card for use.

Best Value 3D Scanner

Create watertight, ready-to-print models for your projects while on the go! The Einstar can quickly output data in a variety of formats, including STL, OBJ, PLY, ASC, 3MF, and P3.
With the Einstar, scanning dark objects is no longer a problem! Hair and dark objects can now be scanned without the use of 3D Scanning sprays such as Aesub.
When scanning an object, quick and easy guided scanning allows for minimal error. The scanning software will colour areas with sufficient point cloud data green and areas that require more data red.

Stable Outdoor Scanning

Einstar can capture clear scan data and generate stable outputs outdoors thanks to its three infrared VCSEL projectors, two stereo depth cameras, and built-in RGB camera. Remember to allow for a variable working distance for small and large objects.

Great Item!
"I initially purchased a Revopoint POP 2 scanner, but was unable to recreaste what their videos and video tutorials showed. I sent it back for a refund and purchased this Einstar 3D Scanner! It is everything they say it is! Easy to use, scans things just like their videos and video tutorials, awesome! Super glad I made the change in scanners! Highly recommended!

Budget? Nah.
"Phenomenal scanner. If you don't need a 30k professional level scanner (I think you'd know if this was the case) then this will do pretty much everything else. I'm using it for quick prototyping in the automotive aftermarket world and don't need super high tolerance, and I'm more than happy with the level of detail, but the best part is how fast I can scan. Setup to CAD import for most things in less than 20 minutes. I briefly had a CR Scan 01 and while quality was fine, it took at least 3x as long to scan and not as reliable. Highly recommend the Einstar. Finally someone made a budget scanner that is more than just a novelty."

Simply the Best!!! Destroys the competition!!!!
"The Einstar is not a budget or entry scanner, yet it is not a professional grade scanner, if it were a camera 📸 it would be called “Prosumer” which is technology that is higher than the usual consumer entry option with some features that are available on professional units (think Canon 90D or Canon R6 Mark II). Cameras in this range from Nikon, Canon, and Sony are called Prosumer. This scanner is a Prosumer Scanner, and it is the first in that range and right now it is in a league of its own. Shining 3D didn’t just make a scanner to compete with the competition, they made a whole new level of scanner! Thank you Shinning 3D! You’ve turned me into an Evangelist on this product and I love you guys for making it!"
