Workshop | Learn To Laser Cut: Make a Stocking Gift Box
December 10, 2019
Get hands-on with a laser cutter to craft your own Stocking gift box! We'll teach you step by step how to Design, Decorate, and Laser cut from start to finish and leave with your own customized stocking Box. Materials included in the admission price.
---
We'll walk you through the techniques used to make a stocking-shaped box in Fusion360. Then we'll show you how to create a custom design in Adobe Illustrator. You can follow along on your own computer or take notes as we demonstrate.
Then, we'll assist you with creating a custom design for the top of your box, setting it up for laser cutting and sending it to the Dremel LC-40 laser cutter and engraver.
Once your design has been etched, take the craft a step further by painting and adding decorations at our craft station.
Shop3D.ca's expert staff will be on hand to answer your questions about laser cutting. We'll also have examples of other great creations you can make with this tool.
This event is open to everyone. Tickets are limited, sign-up before the event to secure your spot.
Tickets are $10 to cover the cost of materials.
