Position:

Bookkeeper Accounting Clerk

Office hours:  Monday to Friday 9:30-6pm

Job Types:  Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Responsibilities:

General bookkeeping duties associated with an eCommerce and Direct Sales business.

Shopify:

Maintaining Shopify billing system to ensure the accuracy of each transaction.

QBO:

• Perform day to day sales transactions, including generating and reviewing invoices, posting payments and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Invoice customers timely and facilitate payment by sending reminders and contacting customers
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are properly posted
• Verify discrepancies and resolve customers’ billing and payment issues
• Produce monthly reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Review GST/HST/PST collected monthly to ensure the accuracy of the data
• Post regular operating expenses and reconcile the accounts.
