Charity Spotlight: The Kidney Foundation of Canada

As part of our Loyalty Program, we have begun to include a donation to one charity every quarter. Our charity for this quarter is The Kidney Foundation of Canada.

For 60 years, the Kidney Foundation of Canada has dedicated itself to advocating for excellent kidney health, promoting optimal quality of life, and researching cures for kidney disease.

They have done this through collaboration, inventive and focused leadership in the development of programs, services, research opportunities and awareness campaigns that have had a positive impact on millions of Canadians living with, or at risk of developing kidney disease.

Why should you donate?

• Support those affected by Kidney disease: With your support, people diagnosed with Kidney disease can live a full life through financial assistance, peer support and access to valuable information.
• Advance world-class research: Contribute to advancing research on possible cures for kidney disease, and maintaining optimal kidney health.
• Encourage organ donation: Some people living with the disease need kidney transplants, but there aren't enough donors. Your contribution would help facilitate campaigns for increased organ donation.
• Increase public awareness: Awareness is important for better kidney health and diagnosis of kidney disease. Your donation would help provide more information, educational materials and dietary management tools to those who need it.

We're happy to contribute to the Kidney Foundation's efforts through donations from our Rewards Program.
