With excellent thermal and mechanical properties and compatible with the Ultimaker S5, XSTRAND™ materials are ideal for industrial applications. They can help customers manufacture items that suit specific applications, such as tooling, appliances, and electronics.
The material’s glass-fiber reinforcement ensures strong prints, with good chemical and UV resistance, able to withstand a large operating temperature range.

- Materials designed for functional prototyping and industrial applications
- Very stiff and strong materials (up to +250% compare to ABS)
- Large operational temperature range -20°C to 120°C
- Good chemical and UV resistance
- Excellent layer adhesion and reduced warping effect compare to neat materials
These are abrasive filaments and are best paired with the Ultimaker CC red Print Core. To enable hassle-free printing of composite materials, the print core CC red features a 0.6 mm diameter nozzle with a specially customized geometry and a wear-resistant ruby cone to ensure reliable 3D printing with composite materials.
