The Fuse Blast Polishing System is a drop-in upgrade to the Fuse Blast that allows users to add a smooth, semi-gloss, scuff-resistant, and dye-ready surface finish to their SLS printed parts. With the Polishing System, users can create parts for consumer-facing, end-use applications with improved feel and appearance. This single-step add-on to the Fuse Blast both cleans and polishes your parts straight from the Fuse Sift without the need for another Blast.

Fuse Blast Polish Module

The Polishing Module is an add-on for the Fuse Blast media blaster that delivers consumer-ready parts with a smooth, semi-gloss, and dye-ready surface finish in one automated step. For use with the Fuse Blast Polishing System.

Fuse Blast Polishing Media

Fuse Blast Polishing Media consists of specially formulated plastic beads for use on the Fuse Blast to deliver smooth, semi-gloss, and dye-ready SLS parts. The Polishing Media smooths parts by compacting the surface, unlike abrasive polishing or chemical surface melting. It is designed for longevity, lasting for over a hundred Blast cycles, while resisting the breakdown that occurs with glass media. The Polishing Media is larger and propelled at higher pressures than standard glass media.

Fuse Blast Polishing Agent

The Fuse Blast Polishing Agent conditions the Fuse Blast Polishing Media to improve polishing quality and prevent media clogging. The Polishing Agent is a liquid solution that is diluted with water in the Polishing Module water tank. 7mL of agent diluted in 750mL of water will last approximately 6 hours of blasting.
