Jan 2019, Vancouver, British Columbia: To kick off the new year, Shop3D.ca will be opening its long-awaited flagship showroom. At the heart of the Canadian west coast, in scenic Vancouver, British Columbia, the new showroom is designed to show a technically curated lineup of professional desktop 3D printing solutions presented as the manufacturer intended in the dedicated space. The industry's most coveted 3D Printing brands will be on display. This list includes Ultimaker, Formlabs, Dremel exhibited alongside a vacuum former by Makyu, a laser cutter by Dremel and high-quality industrial materials from BASF, Dupont, Owens Corning, and eSun.
–Ken Wan, Founder of Shop3D.ca
The flagship showroom has fully customized modular displays which allow for instant reconfiguration whether it is for a brand specific product launch, in-depth training or technical demonstration. While in its natural state, the well-portioned space is reminiscent of an art gallery; Displaying impressive prints, material samples, and the tools that printed them. The way Shop3D’s founders always intended them to be displayed.
To elevate the service to existing customers in the west coast, the Vancouver location will also serve as a local pickup point and the western distribution hub for British Columbia and Alberta. OEM Printers, consumables and parts will be stocked regularly to make sure customers can get much-needed supplies faster and with lower shipping costs. The new flagship showroom has a backbone that is focused on improving services on the west coast and at the same time set a new bar to inspire those making their first purchase.
"This is the Apple store of 3D printers, in Canada."
–Jacky Wan, Founder of Shop3D.ca

A constant question we get from our clients and folks like you calling in is "plastic is great but can I 3D print metal?"
Our answer used to be "you can't really do it unless you have around $100,000 to spare" but that's behind us. BASF's Ultrafuse 316L unlocks the ability of your 3D printer to 3D print metal at home or at your business.
