Formlabs Nylon 11 CF Powder is a carbon fiber reinforced SLS material developed for the Fuse 1 series of selective laser sintering printers. Combining the toughness and durability of Nylon 11 with the added stiffness of carbon fiber, it produces lightweight, rigid parts with excellent dimensional stability and outstanding mechanical performance. The material offers high strength, wear resistance, and reduced weight, making it ideal for demanding functional applications where durability and precision are essential. It is well suited for both rapid prototyping and low-volume production of end-use components.

This material requires Sift 300 Sieve to be used with Fuse Sift.

PPE recommendations

The following PPE is recommended when working with Nylon 11 CF Powder:

  • N95 mask or other equivalent respiratory protection
  • Non-reactive nitrile gloves
  • Appropriate attire that prevents skin contact with powder such as long sleeves, pants, or lab coats (ideally with elastic cuffs)
  • Safety glasses with side shields

Notice:
