Esun PLA+ is a popular brand of 3D printing material. It is competitively priced with dependable filament quality. There can be some colour matching concerns as printing the same colour material can vary in shade depending on the spool. If colour matching is an important part of your consideration we recommend the BASF PLA Filaments where the colour matching is more consistent. In terms of surface quality, we have found the Esun PLA+ printed on the same printer will not be as smooth as the premium brand like Ultimaker PLA.

 This affordable filament has good consistency, rigidity and great surface finish with higher toughness characteristics than standard PLA.  It will work natively with your Ultimaker with the stock PLA settings.  No additional customization is needed.  We found this material to be better than our previous generic filament in both consistency between batches and it's bright vibrant colours previously limited for our generic brand.

PLA is the most common and popular 3D printing material. It has a low melting point which means longer life of your printer components, minimal warping, retains good detail in corners and is very easy to use. If you don't have any special mechanical or chemical requirements, PLA is your go-to choice of material and is compatible with most dual extrusion options.
