Shop3D Mississauga is looking to expand it's team! We're looking for a highly motivated individual with strong technical and sales skills for an exciting opportunity working in the rapidly expanding 3D printing industry.

Shop3D.ca is where Canadians find the best desktop 3D printers, laser engravers and vacuum formers for engineers, educators, and maker spaces. With some of the coolest 3D printing showrooms in Toronto and Vancouver, we have both an online and offline presence.

Position:

3D Printing Technician

Full time, Permanent Position

Monday to Friday 9:30-6:00 PM

General Responsibilities:

Your main tasks will surround the aspects of a 3D printing tech, while also fulfilling tasks of a customer service representative.

  • Quoting, invoicing and communicating to customers about their project and requests.
  • Operating, monitoring and maintaining 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D scanners etc.
  • Coordinating print schedule to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Occasionally coordinating with Ontario team on larger print jobs
  • Pushing the limits of the Printers & making awesome show pieces for the showroom
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Answering customer product and service inquiries
  • Producing evaluation prints & conducting product consultations
  • Calculating ROI for clients
  • Showroom tours & point of sales

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of 3D printing experience REQUIRED
    • Exposure and knowledge on 3D Printers and Tech in the industry
    • Solid understanding of slicing, modeling and various 3D formats
    • Engineering, mechanical and design background a plus
    • Customer service experience over phone, email, and in-person.
