Filament Details

Performance ratings are intended as a general comparison guide. Refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for detailed specifications and certified values.
Bambu Lab PETG HF 1.75mm Filament (1KG) is a high-flow PETG filament engineered for fast, reliable printing with minimal tuning. Designed to print at up to twice the speed of standard PETG, it delivers excellent layer adhesion, impact resistance, and durability while producing a smooth, consistent matte finish. With strong resistance to moisture, UV exposure, and elevated temperatures, PETG HF is an ideal choice for functional parts, outdoor applications, and high-speed production.

Notes

Dry out before use for higher printing quality. PETG HF must be dried before use and remain moisture-free during the printing process, especially for longer print times (over 6 hours).

Drying conditions: 65℃ for 8 h in the Blast Drying Oven; 75 - 85℃ for 12 h in the X1 Series Heatbed. For more details please refer to: Filament Drying Recommendations on WIKI. Please note that the spool can withstand the higher temperature for drying on the heated.

Product Highlights

Top Features

Design for Speed

Twice as fast as standard PETG*, PETG HF significantly boosts your productivity without compromising the quality of your prints.

* The speed of PETG HF can be twice as fast compared to regular PETG, but achieving this speed is highly dependant on model size and geometry.

Print Flawlessly with Minimal Tuning

PETG HF excels in printability among PETG filaments with its higher adaptability for printers and printing settings, achieving ideal print results without fine-tuning parameters. Thanks to advanced formula optimization, PETG HF bids farewell to oozing and clumping, ensuring smoother prints with crisp details.

Smooth, Soft Texture

PETG HF provides a smooth texture and consistent gloss at any printing speed, ensuring uniformity and sharp details in every print.

Ready for Outdoor Use

PETG HF maintains the inherent strengths of regular PETG, providing superior resistance to water, UV, and temperatures. Tougher and more durable than PLA, with higher temperature resistance, it's the perfect choice for printing outdoor items such as planter pots, bird cages, watering cans, and automotive parts. Additionally, it's ideal for outdoor toys that require long-term exposure and the ability to withstand impacts, collisions, and falls.

RFID for Intelligent Printing

All printing parameters are embedded in RFID, which can be read through our AMS (Automatic Material System). Load and print! No more tedious setting steps.

How much faster is PETG HF than regular PETG?

Up to about twice as fast—a preset 258mm/s vs ~172mm/s for standard PETG, reaching ~300mm/s.

Is PETG HF good for outdoor use?

Yes— it resists water, UB and temperature better than PLA.

Does this filament need special settings or tuning?

No—it prints cleanly across a range of printers and resists the oozing common to standard PETG.

Which build plates work with PETG HF?

Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, and Textured PEI; use Bambu Liquid Glue for extra adhesion.

How does it compare to PLA?

Tougher, more impact-resistant and more heat/UV-resistant, though PLA is slightly stiffer.
