We built Form Studio 1 to be more compact while printing taller parts. That required shrinking several components, including the resin tank and build platform height. Together, these changes give Form Studio 1 a taller print volume (235 mm vs. 210 mm) in a smaller footprint. The Form Studio 1 build platform is not backwards compatible with Form 4. The latch that seats it into the Z-axis assembly is a different fit, so a Form Studio 1 build platform will not go into a Form 4, and a Form 4 build platform will not go into Form Studio 1. The latch mechanism itself is the same design used on Form 4.
