VOC Extractor is a compact add-on that reduces volatile organic compound levels while your printer runs. Air passes through two carbon filters, lasting roughly 330 hours of print time and replaceable in seconds. Three fan speeds let you match airflow to your needs.  

 

Compatible with Form Studio 1 and Form 4. UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification applies to Form Studio 1 used with Alpha Resins. 

Is odor the same as VOC?

Yes all odors are VOC, but not all VOC have odors

Are there any safety considerations while running Form Studio 1 or Form 4 without the VOC extractor?

All resins release VOCs that are sensitizers, which means that continued usage in enclosed environments with poor air flow and no air filtration solutions may lead to allergies. All Formlabs resins are ACMO free, but please read through the safety datasheet for safety precautions.


What printers are compatible with the VOC Extractor?

The VOC Extractor is compatible with the port on Form 4 (B). Form 4L has a different sized port and therefore isn’t directly compatible.
